// TVET Electromechanical Training

Modular electric motor assembly

"From Design to Operation"

The first electric motor training platform built for hands-on TVET education. Students don't observe — they design, wind, assemble, and operate real induction machines from loose laminations to running motor.

// The Problem

Students observe.
Never build.

Conventional motor training kits are sealed, fixed units. TVET institutions across Malaysia and the region lack affordable, disassemblable hardware for genuine hands-on learning — and the few that exist cost more than most departments can budget.

Sealed commercial training kit
RM 50K – 100K
Commercial sets (Lucas Nülle, LabVolt) — sealed and non-disassemblable. The price of looking inside one motor.
Sealed construction means students cannot access internal geometry, inspect end-windings, or measure design choices against outcomes.
No known training system covers the full path from electromagnetic design through manufacturing to drive operation in one platform.

// Novelty & Inventiveness

What makes it different

Four design choices that turn invisible physics into something students can touch, see, and reason about.

Stacked silicon steel laminations

Stackable Laminations

24-slot stator built from individual loose M330-35A silicon steel sheets — hand-stacked by students.

Bolt-and-nut assembly detail

Bolt-and-Nut Assembly

Reversible construction over permanent bonding — full disassembly and reassembly, session after session.

Assembled TET-IM induction motor

Interchangeable Rotor

Swappable topology — IM, PMSM, SyRM — expandable as the curriculum advances.

End-winding geometry on stator

Visible End-Windings

Open construction lets students inspect winding geometry directly — invisible physics made tangible.

// Every Module Ready to Teach

// Voices From the First Cohort

What students and instructors are saying

Building real motors gave me hands-on experience that would have taken years to develop in industry. I am now confident to work with motors.
